Join the Wentcher Community

How to Volunteer

The Wentcher Foundation engages committed volunteers to support the selection process through reading and scoring applications and supporting virtual interviews. Requirements for reviewers and interviewers include that they must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, can commit to contributing roughly 20 hours between March and April, and a willingness to join a training session in advance of the opportunity.

How to Partner

The Wentcher Foundation has focused its career development efforts in assisting Wentcher Scholars to secure paid summer internship opportunities in the Chicago-area. These opportunities build up both our scholars’ skills and experience, but also ensure their diverse talent is reinvested in their home community and Chicago businesses. We are seeking partners who share our vision and investment in Chicago’s top scholars who offer paid internship opportunities. Please contact Chris Broughton, Executive Director for the Wentcher Foundation to connect further about our Internship Initiative.
