Application Deadline Extended

Information about fafsa Submission

The Wentcher Foundation fully recognizes the many challenges students face with successfully submitting their 2024-2025 FAFSA and receiving their FAFSA Submission Summary – formerly known as the Student Aid Report (SAR)The Wentcher Foundation has decided to extend the application deadline to Monday, February 12th, 2024, at 6:00 PM CST in response to this difficult situation.  This extension allows additional time for students to finalize all required pieces of their applications, including the required Financial Aid documentation, Transcript Request, and Recommender Form. 

If you have been unable to submit your FAFSA and receive the FAFSA Submission Summary, you can choose to upload either:  

  • A PDF/screenshot of your FAFSA confirmation email.   Be sure the student’s full name and Student Aid Index (SAI) are clearly visible OR 

  • A PDF/screenshot of the student’s estimated Student Aid Index (SAI) generated using the Federal Student Aid Estimator.   

Students are required to upload one of the above documents if they do not have their FAFSA Submission Summary in order to submit their application.  Students will be required to submit their official FAFSA Submission summary once they are available.
